Bates men's distance medley relay team wins All-America honors
The Bates quartet of junior John Stansel, senior Ben Levy, junior Mark McCauley and senior Noah Graboys finished in sixth place with a time of 9:59.97 at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in Lincoln, Neb., on Friday, March 14, 2014.

Great Problem Solvers
At WPI, all undergraduates are required to complete a research-driven, professional-level project that applies science and technology to addresses an important societal need or issue. About two-thirds of students complete a project at one of the university's 35 off-campus project centers, which are located around the world. Each first-year student participates in St. Lawrence University's innovative First-Year Program - one of the oldest living-learning programs in the country - helping students make successful transitions from high school to college. Students live together and are taught by faculty teams, developing the writing, speaking, and research skills needed for college.
